Cimex, the authorised distributor of BYD in Nepal, has been offering electric vehicles and promoting e-mobility in Nepal through various consumer and public efforts. With an aim to spearhead a green revolution in the Nepalese automobile sector, the company offers a diverse range of electric vehicles like electric cars, vans, buses, etc. Here's a look at the latest pricing of BYD electric cars and vans in Nepal.[table id=90 /]
BYD e6:
The BYD e6 is a pure-electric crossover SUV with superior interior space and other creature comforts. Equipped with BYD’s UL-certified Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, BYD e6 is one of the safest electric vehicles in the world and has six airbags. According to the company, the e6 provides a range of 400 km on one full charge (WLTC cycle).
The major highlights of the e6 are 450 Nm of torque, maximum power of 121 hp, regenerative braking system, cruise control, hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, bi-directional charging and discharging, and 80% charging in 45 mins with the fast charger, etc.
In terms of dimensions, the BYD e6 measures 4,560mm long, 1,822mm wide, and 1,630mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2,830mm and a ground clearance of 155mm. The new e6 has a minimum turning radius of 11.4m. The vehicle has a kerb weight of 2,420 kg. The new e6 has a cargo volume of 450 litres. The top speed is rated at 140 km/h.
New BYD e6:
The new BYD e6 gets a new exterior, upgraded interior, new infotainment system, new blade battery, and generous boot space. The new BYD e6 which is available in two variants comes equipped with a first-of-its-kind battery known as a Blade Battery, developed by BYD. The 71.7 kWh battery can be charged in 1 hour 30 minutes (with a fast charger) and can cover a total distance of 520 km on one full charge (WLTC cycle).
The major highlights of the new BYD e6 are LED daytime running lights and LED rear combination lamps, peak power of 94 bhp and 180 Nm of maximum torque, leather seats, 6-way adjustable driver and front passenger seats, a 10.1-inch rotatable touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity, 580-litres of boot space, and several safety features like airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Vehicle Dynamic Control System, Traction Control System (TCS), Hill-start assist, and Hydraulic Brake Assist System, etc.
The new BYD e6 measures 4,695mm long, 1,810mm wide, and 1,670mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2,800mm and a ground clearance of 175mm. The new e6 has a minimum turning radius of 5.65m. The new e6 has a cargo volume of 580 litres. The top speed is rated at 130 km/h.
BYD M3 (5-seater and 7-seater):
The BYD M3 MPV is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater variants. Powered by BYD’s proprietary NCM battery with a capacity of 50.3kWh, this MPV features a 310 km driving range on a single charge (WLTP cycle). The battery life is 20 years with 4000 cycles and takes 1.5 hours to fully charge with a fast charger.
The major highlights of the BYD M3 are automatic headlights with 'follow me home' function, front and rear fog lights, radio with AUX and USB port, automatic A/C, dual airbags, seatbelt reminder, anti-theft system, ABS with EBD, electric power steering, and 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels, etc.
In terms of dimensions, the BYD M3 measures 4,460mm long, 1,720mm wide, and 1,875mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2,725mm and a ground clearance of 180mm. Likewise, the minimum turning radius stands at 5.75m. The vehicle has a kerb weight of 1,740 kg - 1,780 kg. The 5-seater variant has a cargo volume of 1500 litres while the 7-seater variant gets a boot space of 300 litres.
BYD T3 (2-seater van):
The BYD T3 is an all-electric two-seater delivery van fit for transportation and logistics delivery. The 50.3 kWh battery delivers 134 hp and 180 Nm of maximum torque. The BYD T3 has a top speed of 100 km/h and a maximum range of 310 km (GB/T 1 standards). Guobiao standards or GB standards are the Chinese national standards issued by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), the Chinese National Committee of the ISO and IEC.
The BYD T3 measures 4,460mm long, 1,720mm wide, and 1,875mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2,725mm and a kerb weight of 2,420kg. Likewise, the minimum turning radius stands less than 5.75m. It has a cargo volume of 3,500 litres.For more information on BYD electric cars and vans in Nepal, click
